Tax Collector John D. Townsend Two Year Term"For a number of years I have been contemplating service to our town. His exposure to that field also provided him with ample formal education in the specialty of real estate valuation and appraisal. His formal education also bolsters his credentials with an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Hartford as well as an MBA with a concentration in finance from that same institution. He is computer literate having built his own web site and several databases for his own business and those of others.
